Jan 21 - Return to 4-Day Instructional Schedule on Jan 25

  • IMPORTANT -  Beginning January 25, Lexington 4 will move to a 4 day a week (M-Th) on-campus instructional schedule for all hybrid students (4K-12).

Within our COVID-19 Flexible Response Plan, the district has identified specific thresholds to ensure we have the necessary staff available to supervise, feed, and transport students as part of a safe learning environment within a given instructional schedule (virtual, hybrid, 4-day).

At this time, conditions will allow all Hybrid Instructional Program students (4K-12) to return for on-campus instruction 4 days a week:

    • Monday, January, 25, A and B-day students attend on-campus

    • Tuesday, January 26: A and B-day students attend on-campus

    • Wednesday, January 27: A and B-day students attend on-campus

    • Thursday, January 28: A and B-day students attend on-campus

    • Friday, January 29: remains a virtual learning day for all students except those in special populations

Virtual Program students will continue virtual learning as scheduled.

NOTE - The district continues to monitor and manage staff availability due to COVID-19.  Currently, district thresholds within our Flexible Response Plan allow for the return of students to on-campus instruction 4 days a week. Changes to the instructional schedule may be necessary if conditions warrant including a return to the A/B hybrid schedule.  The district’s goal is to continue with the 4-day schedule for all hybrid students as long as it is safe to do so.

Should any further changes to the current instructional schedule be needed, we will communicate these to families as soon as possible via email, text alert, and the district web page.
