March 27 Update
Today’s update provides information regarding Spring Break, Distance Learning, Chromebook distribution, and learning packet returns.
Spring Break
The district will observe Spring Break as scheduled - April 6 - April 13.
Meal delivery will continue over the break, and a schedule will be posted next week.
Everyone enjoy your break and take some to relax and recharge!
Distance Learning Plans
Beginning April 14, learning plans for grades 1 through 12 will transition to eLearning.
New assignments for the upcoming week will be posted each Thursday evening, and students should sync completed work from the current week between Friday and Monday. Teachers will provide specific information regarding their assignments.
At the ECC, 5K students will have access to eLearning through Waterford Reading Academy. Teachers will communicate directly with families about the use of this online system.
Chromebooks will be available for pickup for students in 5K through grade 6 on the following dates from 9 AM - 11 AM and 1 PM - 3 PM.
- ECC: April 1, 2, and 3
- SPES: April 1, 2, and 3
- FMIS: April 15, 16, and 17
Students in 3K - grade 12 who need paper packets may pick up their work on April 15, 16, and 17 from 8 AM - 4 PM at their school’s main entrance.
Special Education teachers will contact their students regarding their learning plans.
Beginning on April 6, Internet access will be available outside of six locations across the district. Maps will be posted to the district web page. Students who need Internet access will be able to sync their devices at these locations.
Learning Packets Returns
Beginning this Monday, grades 1 - 12 may return completed assignments to containers outside their school’s front entrance.
ECC teachers will contact their students regarding student work to be returned.
We very much appreciate our students' and parents' hard work during these unique circumstances!
Be on the lookout for Monday's update about report cards.
